- PHI may be transmitted electronically, including via email and text message, which may not be fully secure.
- Alternative secure communication methods (e.g., encrypted portals) are available upon request.
- We verify recipient details before transmitting PHI and limit disclosures to what is necessary.
Encryption & Data Protection
- Where required, PHI will be encrypted using industry-standard protocols (PGP, S/MIME).
- Emails regarding PHI submissions are sent through Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), supporting encryption.

No AI Recording or Data Processing
- We do not use artificial intelligence (AI), automated transcription, or recording tools to process, store, or analyze your therapy sessions.
- All session notes and records are handled exclusively by licensed professionals in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
